My man loves to get it on in the morning, but I'm raring to go at night. How can we synch up our sex appetites?
"This is a common issue for couples, as men's testosterone peaks between 7 and 8 a.m. and women's peaks in the evening," says Love Network expert Michele Weiner-Davis, founder of divorcebusting.com .
Weiner-Davis suggests that you discuss how you can make sure both of your needs are being taken care of.
"If you have sex twice a week, each of you should be willing to do it once at the time of day when the other is feeling randy," she says.
"And if you're really exhausted or in a rush when he approaches you, say no, but suggest that tomorrow morning will work."
Find ways to get yourself feeling hotter at daybreak: "Try brushing your teeth or set your alarm five minutes earlier so your senses have a chance to wake up," Weiner-Davis says.
"And to up the chances that he'll be receptive to nighttime advances, eat a light dinner and read something sexy together."
And no matter what time it is, Weiner-Davis notes, you'll often get into the groove once you get going so just do it.
You'll be glad you did.
